I’m a man of many wishes, But I wouldn’t want a genie See even a million fallen stars would not please me But I’d give up all the fallen stars in the world For you to be my girl Or for that chance to find out if what we have is true romance For what is this? A man willing to dismiss his fears Dry one’s tears Opening up a window to cast out all his cares Simply for this My beautiful, one wish ... Jahzeel’s first poem (written at age 13)

Right Timing 02:09
Sometimes it’s all about timing And from the start it seemed for this one I’d be thrilled to put the time in But the past has taught us that things fall apart and it’s evermore so often when dealing with the heart better yet let’s just use the word feelings The heart is too heavy and the word love kills vibes To stay relevant tell me that I ever meant anything to you or that you could see me and you in another light Yeah that’s a Wale verse and I stole it But come on babygirl you own it! Presently we exchange smiles and I ... I miss you's Distance prevents evolution to hugs and I just really wanna kiss you. Last but not least important is what the future holds Hopefully feelings won’t turn out cold Because I enjoy time spent with you like no other Its that, we can be close friends or maybe something greater Type feeling. That I hope your body don’t get too close to mine cause if you knew what was running through my mind ... But before the point where my words become your new narcotic and so that every time after this you see me you’re not evoked or erotic I’ll just Stop And enjoy the time spent Because babygirl I can only hope this poem stays relevant

Moment of clarity is all this is For whatever reason our mothers and fathers failed to stress the importance of legacy But so too their ancestry, and now we stuck But ensue the vicious cycles bias to no man And no man is their own man Or at least I think that’s how the story goes You see Slim Shady’s account was since birth he was cursed with this curse to just curse A plight he’ll potentially bear forever Pass along to his heirs like rare treasure But I need not say treasure worth infinite dismay And this may be the last chance for us to win the battle And time’s a wasting so move swiftly We are the risen generation our arsenal is in tip top shape and we should be going beast mode See, no longer do you have to be cursed And no longer should you be complacent with the hurt that has afflicted millions of generations past There is a sweet aroma in the air One that only exists because we fried our inequities and served it with a side of what we once thought were impossibilities Nutrition that was once fear But who cares? I pray someday we all do! So that consciously we’ll remain the proof that it only takes one To shatter the darkness with the TRUTH!

Yesterday I found myself trying to put into words This void But I was exactly that Void of the words that was left from a passion unrehearsed And ain’t nothing worse than how it flirts with my emotions giving me incomplete notions See I started off strong but procedurally my thoughts committed suicide Pretty soon I wanted to quit entirely I wanted to retire this fire burning for a higher sense of clarity Then so too this world will be void of a higher me Now I can stand here and tell you that it’s humanity to blame But I’d rather stand unashamed and tell you the truth See it is my tendency to not attend to my weaknesses that defeats me Now that’s straightforward and it is cliche But the basis of this basic solution eludes many each and everyday But I like to consider myself like Neo from the Matrix Because it seems like I’m the only one privy to this insanity we practice Mimicking the past but expecting ... Mimicking the past but expecting ... Mimicking the past ... but expecting a future Hoping and praying that magically situations change And I guess we pray because we’re no longer in to wishing But intuition tells me we’re stuck Truthfully speaking ... do you think prayer is enough What I’ve heard is that without works it’s void So take action I’ll suggest Hoping my words manifest because they have so much creative power I’m trying to wake you up from this matrix you’ve been convinced is reality And from what I’ve seen it may trick some of you but I’m here steady losing my sanity You silly rabbits! You didn’t know trix were for kids? Grow up! I’m sorry to have to break it to you but you first have to die to truly LIVE! I’m trying to help you open up the blinds to enlightenment cause in light we were meant to dwell And once you’re there it’s swell Please believe me it’s swell

Mustard Seed 03:41
Beyond whatever’s just clever Life’s trials and tribulations I’ve weathered so bear witness to rare kingship! Schemes thicker than Juggernaut times Superman’s skin wrapped in leather ... You know, Tuscan But of course I’m a force commissioned to a greater cause One for the lost, remorsed* and hopeless For the wounded SO[U]L-D. I. E. R. S. Yes, SOLDIERS!!! We are!! And in His army I’m a general ... Far from naive I know this world is cyclically cynical But yet I stay grounded ducking dodging the over spiritual! Motivated by grace Standing eye to eye with my fate Death to this human case with a crooked smile on my face The bittersweet I’m a living sacrifice for sure But I’m inspired so it’ll be a beautiful death I hope you see how divine a catastrophe it is my humanity becomes casualty Juxtapose to how casually this human race is only concerned about one Call that self mutilation But therein lies my warcry for vanity’s seductive kiss But the switch of the hip hopping where we from vanity is popping An hour away from destiny Negative thoughts try to get the best of me So I circle my platoon with words of encouragement Preparing them for the darker side of the moon Telling them that winter now takes its place in June But a quick gaze revealed that death was approaching too soon. So as a Leader I asked Can we renew our Trust! Root it in something much deeper than us Cause right now we’re walking on crutch Broken Waiting for limbs to mend but then again broken ain’t so bad if it’s in seed form Reaching for the illuminated dust Giving it all to God!! To see, our faith, mustered up Words embodying clutch Talking foundation for a nation impatiently waiting the floodgates continuous pour Laymen terms that’s kickin the door wavin the four-four Providing for fruit that will thrive with humble pride as the sun shines daily I speculate this much But the mumble of the vagabonds en garde if you ever stand at ease in the cut Throwing that line and your life away if you only get your ... high ... from the visions of the clear blue sky Surprise in your lap as the storm clouds roll by! But I ain’t here to judge the masses ‘cause to each his own Or is it each his sin to own? Conquer! Words quickly becoming my sponsor So if I speak it I deem it as such So troops I urge you March on to the inevitable Your destiny With unyielding trust!

Status Quo? 00:45
There is a world outside of the one you live in The one with hopeless broke kids losing their self worth While we The fortunate bicker and moan Living bitter from the slightest of problems while there are kids without homes I see now why I curse this desire to inspire The generation I live in Heartless and regardless of our silver platter We tend to shy away from the ladder

If words are left up to interpretation Whose reasoning is the best? The idea of a superior cognition, leaving obsolete the rest *Laughs Out Loud* What a [con]troversial per[cept]ion The fact is we’re all different So i need not stress But just to make it plain I have a question for you What’s better, the Quench or the Thirst? Hoping [th]e [in]ternal battle bec[k]ons Let’s stop, and just take a second I myself find the THIRST to be most admirable The anticipation, anxiety, and constant thrill excites all that i am and ever will be

If our challenge is to find sanity in this reality Our futures are bleak Unless you have the willpower to find HOPE Change your SCOPE and visit the remote realm of BALANCE I promise you it’s the key to life’s plight But if you beg to differ I’m all ears Let me know what you think Because I’ve been using this here formula for years

Scheming up something quite unfair with her *Smiles* Would you like to know her name? Well her first name is My And her last name ... Dreams YES! And I scheme because it seems we’re all married to the reality of death But I’ve given “her” more than 1,440 promise rings each day More committed to pursuing her than the second hand to a clock In its pursuit of 24 hours I show and prove if you watch Guaranteeing you’ll miss it if you never owed or paid attention to a clock And truly only the reality of death’s grip can stop me Or so it would seem Taught that defeat only comes in death But I can’t rest in peace until I see the fruition of living with you come true So I promise to dedicate the night and day ... Dreaming of you. I can see it now with a vision of clarity I have a clear eye-view Multiple realms align bringing oneness to disparity Granted I’ll see success iris I mean I’ll rest ... assured I’ll strike the perfect strings to your heart Last name Campbell is just the start A covenant eternal in a world of shambles The rest of forever will be ours to handle I just need you to say “I do!” And as she formed her lips to say I ...*Wakes Up from his dream*

Tryna balance the way she makes me feel with Benadryl Cause everybody’s allergic to heartache I can’t bother with the heartbreak But I refuse to be fake and act like I’m not feeling you A feeling I won’t shake or debate for the time being Because ultimately chemistry takes time-ing It’s forever pivotal Not just tryna be your best-friend or whatever I’m talking fairytales Happily ever after And yeah yeah Slow and steady wins the races But at this point denial’s my failsafe Or is it the reality I gotta live with? Seems like we’re moving apart Ignoring the words of the court Laws of attraction The heart of love Making it hard to love Forever remaining at war with the art of love Communication lacking A simple fact we can’t deny And in the end if nothing becomes of this I can’t wholeheartedly believe that we surely tried The general myth about communication is that it happens When in fact the idea alone heightens our inhibition to envision a future stripped of the facts In order to display straight facts A quick recipe for heart-attacks Or for what makes the heart relax To slow death Here’s to clever letters eventually ending up in shredders
